Goddess of Poise?

You would ask yourselves - what on earth is this article about. It is about poise, the way a person holds themselves, not just physically, but mentally, spiritually, psychically. In Yoga poise is all.

It is about a set of images I snapped from a video of a girl I saw on YouTube. The girl in question, Jenelle, is quite a good dancer, graceful and lithe. She dances well and has quite a unique talent for showing of her stronger assets. How she does it and whether it is consciously or instinctive is hard to tell.

Her only downside which really isn't much of a downside is an attitude of interspersing the better moves which highlight her talent with awkward, jerky, rappisms (what I call the style of speech, with finger pointing, arm waving mannerisms displayed by gangster rappers). Somehow I get the feeling that she is shy or reluctant to show us the sheer dominance within her, as though holding back from overwhelming us with her talent. It could be due to a sense of modesty, which isn't a bad thing.

Why this video, Why these pictures?

I had viewed a number of her videos and initially only a few of them interested me, but somehow something kept me going back as though there was something I was overlooking. This particular video that these images came from, didn't grab me well at the first time I saw it, I thought it was one of her least interesting ones. I looked again as detected some kind of dancing flair. I looked again and was underwhelmed but there was still something in it.

I was trying to make some improvements to the picture in VLC and noticed the Video|Snapshot item on the menu and on a whim I clicked on it. Revelation. There it was. I have never fancied myself to be some kind of reviewer or aficionado of fashion models, but I recognized an aspect of myself I had never seen before.

Perhaps I have found my true vocation.

The pictures were just breathtaking, they made me gasp, even feel like weeping in some of them(come, come, come). Freeze upon freeze upon freeze and almost everyone was a classic. There is something about the set of her upper body that makes the pictures a joy to be hold. Even when she bounced around on the bed the set of her back and shoulders came out right. You see poncy fashion photographers with their airhead models cavorting around adopting all kinds of silly poses and making silly faces and wonder what its all about. On account of Jelly I have just turned into one of them. My sincerest apologies.
